Hours after a crackdown against Maoists began in Lalgarh, a Congress delegation from West Bengal today met Prime Minister Manmohan Singh but did not demand central intervention over the issue.The delegation did not demand imposition of Article 355 as was being sought by the party's poll partner Trinamool Congress, Congress Legislature Party leader Man as Bhuiyan told PTI when asked whether it had done so.
